Concussion Training
Concussions and closed head injuries can occur in all sports and all physical activities. Lakes Athletics believes that learning and understanding the concussion protocol will allow our players to participate in a safer environment. All managers are required to take the NFHS Concussion Training on an annual basis, and all parents and assistants are strongly urged to take the training as well. By spending 20 minutes taking the training, you can learn the signs and symptoms of an internal head injury and help your player to a safer, faster recovery.
This is a 20-25 minute video offered through the Michigan Department of Community Health and the National Federation of High Schools.
