2026 Lakes Spring Training - Winter II 2026

Our popular Lakes Spring Training clinics are designed to get your young ballplayer ready for the upcoming season. NEW for 2026- three different offerings:

Lakes Spring Training: Fundamentals Clinics at On the Dunes: 3:30-5PM Saturdays for 5U to 8U Players
Lakes Spring Training: Advanced Concepts at On the Dunes: 6:30-8 PM Saturdays for 8U to 12U Players

Lakes "Extended" Spring Training Sunday with Walled Lake Central Baseball: Sunday, March 22nd* from 12 Noon to 4 PM (open to players of all ages).
*The 3/22 clinic will be held outside weather permitting

Each week's registration* also comes with a Lakes collectible dri-fit style t-shirt that is perfect for wearing to practices during the upcoming Lakes season! The OTD clinics are station-based clinics run by Lakes dedicated volunteer coaches including some of your children's favorite coaches.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay for the event?: The fee for the player will be collected at the time of registration.

When is the training?: Saturday sessions are at On the Dunes in Commerce beginning in late February through April 4th. The Sunday session is on March 22nd at Walled Lake Central High School.

Where is the training?: Saturday clinics will be held at On The Dunes in Commerce off of Haggerty Road just south of Pontiac Trail. The Sunday clinic on March 22nd will be at Walled Lake Central High School.

How do the two timeslots differ?: The 3:30-5 slots, open to 5U-8U players, will deal primarily in fundamentals. Evening sessions (8U-12U) may cover more advanced techniques pertaining to footwork, pitching and possibly catching. 7U and 8U players are welcome to sign up for either session. In both cases, children are grouped together based on expected playing level.
